M. Asphodel: The storm passed. The group is a little shaken up by the previous encounter. We were all screened and came out negative. The two children were held for longer. I am glad that we didn't lose anyone. Everyone's attention and curiosity has been on the two children we acquired. They couldn't have been living on the surface the entire time. If so, where did they originate from?

We were given a time limit to how long we could stay up on the surface. Any longer than thirty minutes and we risk infection. The children's persistence makes me wonder if our previous leaders we wrong. There is also the possibility that the two children are different. The technicians at the weapons lab did not believe me when I told them that the children were responsible for our safe return. I told them that they had a device that warded away and stopped an impending swarm of the Tainted. Rumor spread about this device afterwards. Although I believe that their knowledge might benefit our community, I also sensed fear in everyone's eyes. I don't blame them. At such a young age, how in the world have these children outsmarted the Tainted? Another question comes to mind. This might all be too good to be true. Perhaps this is a new strategy of the Tainted.
